I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to Sierra Research Laboratories and myself. I founded SRL in January 1994 to conduct research in the fields of urban and veterinary entomology. My primary focus has been compound screening, formulation evaluation, product development and comparative efficacy trials. I have also included some parasitology evaluations using in vitro nematode models. My experience includes laboratory and field efficacy evaluations, including Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) studies.
Test species i have worked with over the years included: fleas, ticks, ants, cockroaches, flies, mosquitoes, mites, as well as numerous occasional household invading arthropod species. Product evaluations have included Insect Growth Regulators (IGR's) insecticides (including organic or natural products), acaracides, repellants, attractants and traps in both the laboratory and the field. I have designed bioassays specifically to meet client needs as well as offering a series of standard bioassays. We are set-up to conduct product efficacy studies on arthropods of "Human Health Concern" under GLP standards as proposed by the EPA
SRL is centrally located in Modesto, California giving access to a wide variety of testing situations within the State of California.
